Well, its official, according to AOL news broswer and weather people, we here are going to be hit by a polar storm that is heading our way, with in the next couple weeks and that will mean no aeroplanes, no trains, no buses and whole country will grind to halt and form then on it will be brass monkeys weather, people say Britain is never prepared for this, that is because as the general rule we generally have winters here and only have brief cold snaps which dont and that is why we neither have the infrasructures or equipment or materials to cope with it and that is why the transport system here generally grinds to halt, sicne we mostly have mild weather and anything remotely that has a whiff of snow in it buggers up the entire transport network and the UK it is in a state of affairs where due to its location and its general prevailing winds itss postion in relation to the norhten jet steam and if there is either slight alteration in both wind directions or slight alterations and disruptions to the jet stream or a combination of both then we tend to get these adverse weather conditions which cuase huge disruption to our transport network. mind you since UK weather is extremely upredictable anyway, they may have got it wrong
