Well its that time of year again . The 2013/14 hockey season is now officially over. Would like to announces RETIREMENT from all hockey as player and coach. Time to spend weekend with Charlie and Louise Gouick. Ive been lucky enough to have played with some genuine great player, and coached by genuine great coaches . Not enough time to thank everyone , but would like to thank: Brian McArtney ( Andrew McArtney dad ) and andrew mcartney who brought me to hockey . Bill Finley , Tony Cheng, George Masson and Donald Cramb for my time at Morgan FP. Especial shout out to Martin Boag , who brought success and trophies back to Monarchs HockeyClub. Sandy Keith , Dominic Cruickshanks Who brought me to GCWHC . Still the best club Ive played for. Thank to Gavin Tomlinson who brought me to Menzieshill HC. Where I had the pope trinity to play National 1 hockey Brian John Petty Steve Lemon , Steven Payne and alan walker. For the Privilege of pulling on a RN and RM hockey shirt, and captaining the RN team Ive had the opportunity to coach youth player that will go on to make Scotland caps Callum Boag Callum White. As a player and coach my best moment will always be, indoor and outdoor promotion in 2012/13 season. Back to back indoor promotions with Monarchs HC . The privilege of getting to be on the same pitch as Ewan Clark (Wan) .
