Well its time to stain my finger again. I must honestly admit that - TopicsExpress

Well its time to stain my finger again. I must honestly admit that politically Im an Independent. I hold no card for any political party. I keep an open mind. My voting pattern indicates that I am willing to vote for any party if I am convinced that they have made a case for my vote of confidence. In the last election I voted against the arrogance of Patrick Manning and for the promise of New Politics. But I was disappointed and felt betrayed by the COPs new politics. So now I have to decide again, because I reside in St Joseph. I only wish I had the CVs or profiles of these candidates who would like my vote. Ian Alleyne..I would vote for if he were running for the position of crime activist or performing artist. Parliament is about serious business..or it should be. I see MPs as legislators. And that ad which seeks to give the impression that there was an exchange or accommodation between Jack Warner (ILP) and Keith Rowley (PNM) is absolutely tasteless and unbecoming of a party in government. To stoop to such low level to deceive the unsuspecting voter. Mr Lalla seems like a nice man. But these are serious times. We need a strong opposition with credible and principled leadership. So this time I will be voting for the PNM candidate. I am putting country first. So hopefully everyone who can vote will exercise their right to do so on Monday.
