Well just another day in Iowa City! The past couple days havent had many changes, Terry still has some stomach pain so an X-Ray was taken this morning & showed nothing but some air which is good but still doesnt explain the belly pain. I have gotten him to eat a small amount of food but the appetite just isnt there. At this point Jackies cherry bars & cheesecake are the hot items! There is still some confusion going on so they have switched one of his meds & it will take a couple days to see if that helps. Days & nights are mixed up & he just doesnt understand why those bags on the IV pole dont ever get empty so we can go home. He has been on steroids for six days so they will evaluate & see if that has made a difference. I asked the nurse today why we have seen no improvement & he said he isnt getting any worse, hes just not getting any better at this point. The GVH which is graph versus host is the donor & Terrys marrow fighting each other which isnt uncommon & the degree of symptoms varies with each person. I think they are even possibly working on moving us into a bigger room if one becomes available because Terry cant get up & move on his own, he has to have assistance to get from the bed to the chair & back & its hard to get around everything. A Big thank-you to Roger & Jane, Ken, Pastor Gerry, John & Arlyn for your surprise visits this past few days. A few minutes of company help to pass the time & helps him to know how much people care about him! We will see what tomorrow brings! Isaiah 41:10
