Well...just got off the phone with Lisa and so overwhelmed right now that not even sure I can type this to make sense because those darn tears will not stop falling. You see, she sounds amazing and strong and so happy and so much of that reason is ALL of you. You see prayers are being answered; she is getting stronger each day and she believes with every fiber of her being and to the very depths of her soul, that it is the outpouring of love and support and those prayers; please keep them coming!! Lisa is going to Pittsburgh tomorrow and may not have to have the tube put in her stomach at all; she is now eating and her body cooperating with her...she has felt the prayers, because the change from last week up to today could not come from any other power...it is her unwavering faith in Gods plan for her and each and every one of your thoughts and prayers....she and John are simply in awe of all of you. She has also asked another favor and to those of you that have contributed I will be contacting you personally to know your thoughts, but to the rest...Lisa has asked us to focus on turning all of this support to her into a program of support for others in our community suffering from cancer...and finding ways to help them. So for now, please do not make any more contributions to the gofundme campaign or if you do, please understand the focus is shifting away from Lisa personally. She is so unbelievably grateful, but feels that this simply cannot be just about her...she is feeling so very good and really hoping for the news needed tomorrow so she can get to the clinic in Florida, and at the same time knows of others who cannot afford the gas to drive to Pittsburgh for treatments, and those who cannot afford the expense of hotels and gas, and wants those to be the ones that get the help; so if we can come up with some outreach program ...something to help others suffering from any form of cancer...that is Lisas wish, along with John...move this effort outward. So we will be having a meeting at some point this week to see how to address that, but in the meantime...whatever is going on in your life, whatever day you have had (good or bad), if the world is putting you down or you are flying high, if you sometimes question your life, faith or purpose, please, please know...you all make such a difference, there is such a purpose for each of you...please remain with me as Lisas warriors in prayer; still a long road ahead...but know our girl has defied the odds yet once again and all she is asking for at this time is continued prayers that she does not need that tube at all comfortably and safely to And I know this is wordy, but so darn emotional right now...those of you who did contribute did not do it in vain and Lisa ... well, those of you who know, understand what I am trying so hard to say and for those that contributed without knowing her....you are true angels as well; please let us all continue what has worked...pray, pray, pray.. for the love of our Lisa
