Well ladies and gents, its nearly election time for Canada once again, and the fever has begun on a low note for the majority of Canadians who didnt vote for a conservative majority (irony?). And so it goes, nothing unusual about the start of the campaign and Canadians were quick to turn to Quebec and reopen the topic of secession, heres an idea for all those of you living outside la belle province, put Harpo on a boat to Saudi Arabia so he can stop messing with Canadian politics and finally fit in somewhere. The take home here is that Quebec really isnt the issue in this election, the issue is does Canada move forward or back? Do we ally with the nations of the world, or remain a rogue state bent on poisoning ourselves for a quick dollar (which really only puts money in the pockets of the few) which is not what the commercials say https://youtube/watch?v=WmO8KJwPDE4 but dont fall for it, they tell you that theyll ask you, but have you been asked? has anyone you know been asked? They claim in their add to ask Native peoples well, the Globe and Mail and the Idle no more movement claim otherwise theglobeandmail/…/supreme-c…/article19356432/, Canadians dont need poisoned water, polluted air, and big fancy trucks. We need food, now and for the future, we need air for time eternal, and we need water that doesnt smack of gasoline from pipeline spills and fracking. We need a government strong enough to say no to dirty tar sands and yes to our childrens and our childrens childrens health. This fall, vote not for your truck size, but your heart size.
