Well, let me take this opportunity to welcome all well-meaning residents of Budalang’i Constituency who have the interest of the constituency at heart to the Budalang’i Plus+ cyber forum. Budalang’i is not only a constituency but our valued home, and the only place where we all belong rightfully. I am particularly pleased to be a part of this crucial and important forum and am sure all the children of the soil would agree with me that the time is now and if not now its now for us to join hands and think development of Budalang’i and its people if we are to enjoy the triple effects of being residents of this great home of ours. Its a very big honor for me to be a part of this and as well to be an active contributor in our new platform that seeks to congregate and collate our ideas towards a more sustainable developed Budalang’i. The range of personalities that this forum has brought together is an indication of the weight and urgent need for us to join hands for the development of our home which we as people of Budalang’i have long craved for. It shows the essence and necessity of unity of minds for us to enjoy the change that we want to see, and we all appreciate the positive impact so far in our home! In the past few years, weve seen the development initiatives that have been rolled out within the constituency, however, because of detractors to development we cannot even consolidate this and applaud the efforts made, its on this background and whilst taking cognizance of the unity of the people that this forum is of importance to us. Suffice to say criticism is plausible; however, would it not help us all to criticize as we offer solutions for where we see that we have fallen short of expectations as opposed to continued bickering while ultimately detracting the gains that have so far been made resulting in failure to enjoy the impact achieved. This forum – with a niche separate from the others – will provide an avenue for propositions and ideas to accentuate our development agenda in Budalang’i. It will mobilize Budalang’i residents to come together, share ideas where necessary we will combine our resources, assemble ourselves, help our fellow residents and develop and implement a strategic development plan for Budalangi whilst raising public awareness and reaching out to our community members and other stakeholders who can collaborate with us towards a developed Budalangi. This will be achieved with help of my love Ababu Namwamba.
