Well lets see...genetically modified seeds are used to kill off weeds, notably, milkweed - the main source of sustenance for monarch butterflies. The monarch butterfly migration is the lowest in history. Now they want to use genetically engineered grass (Scotts Roundup). Roundup is probably the worst thing to come out for pesticides ever. Bayer, Monsanto, any of the BIG-AG (agricultural) companies see big dollar signs from pesticides. Last year, all of you who signed petitions, sent emails - helped to pass the nation’s first law to label genetically engineered food. Today, we need your help to stop Scotts Roundup Ready grass and other similar genetically engineered landscaping products from ever entering our state.
