Well lets see what the News Media tomorrow has to say on the ill treatment, breach of Medical / Privacy and over all general BS that Department of Veteran Affairs Canada has been doing to myself while trying to handle DADs Nick Ryan Estate and get basic rights of MATTER OF RIGHT for funeral to be paid for as I think DAD had contributing medial / disabilities that caused death and under the ACT if so a Veteran that dies do to this, their funeral is paid for as MATTER OF RIGHT out of the LAST Post Fund of the Legion but they are giving me run around, forcing me to get hard to get evidence, documents and NOT ACCEPTING the Funeral Directors Signed statement of Death which in Nova Scotia IS LEGAL. So Time the media gets to hear a bit and see how much DVA DOES NOT CARE about their vets. Dad being a highly decorated and LAST KOREA WAR Vet at his Branch 106 In Whites Lake Nova Scotia and myself as a VET I find this a disturbing trend of Steven Harpers Chronnies he has placed to oversee DVA and to mitigate losses, I.E. Ensure NO VET gets money.
