Well met my new oncologist last week and she is a ray of sunshine! Total opposite from my last who was like talking to a wall. She spent sometime getting to know me and explaining things to me. My last doctor was not good at all at this. Her practice is almost all breast cancer patients. Im very hopeful that she can help me. We have already added to medicines which have greatly helped these crazy reactions Ive been having plus I have an epi pen and Im not afraid to use it! Today is high anxiety day as I have scans so we can see whats going on and come up with a treatment plan. We may not go the route that rapid had me on. Only time will tell. I go back on the 5th for results. Heres hoping we have good scans with no progression. Sunday and Monday were rough as I hardly got out of bed but Tuesday I had my first really good day In a while. Met Diana and her girls at the zoo. We went early before it got hot as I dont do heat well. It was so great seeing Riya and her girls together. Came home to a surprise delivery of edible arrangements from the hubby! Then we went birthday shopping for Riya and headed downtown for dinner. It was a great day! Yesterday the scanxiety started to take full effect. And today is going to be a long day of scans. On a bright note Tammy and Danny will be here when I get out! Tomorrow my little girl turns 4 and enrolls in school for the first time. Im so glad Im here for this and hope to be around for many more. Saturday were having a frozen birthday party and I cant wait to be surrounded by family and friends. Its going to be a great day!
