Well, my faith in humanity has been somewhat restored! Petes sister-in-laws husband passed away and I called to order a plant from a small place South of us. When we completed the transaction the gentleman said to me, do you want to stop in and pay for these or do you want to use a card? I was so surprised I couldnt think what to say.....I know, I know, hard to believe :) I do not know this person nor do they know me. They do know the gentleman who died and his family so I guess that is what he was trusting me on. It DOES make a difference what people think of you and your family. That has never happened to me with any flower shop I have used in this area. Having said that, the lady in Villa Grove does do that when she knows you. My point is, this man had never heard of or met me, and yet he offered me that option without hesitating. Makes me feel a whole lot better about people
