Well my first week at my level 3 and Ive not been as faithful as I should have been. The course doesnt start till next week but its nice to get going. New words cline, which refers to a degree of literaryness in speech and mentonym and menonym both forms of metaphor but have more complex meanings associated with them. What I am utterly rubbish at is critical analysis. Im not sure even how to write it. The last time I attempted it 3 years ago I was called by the tutor polemic... I didnt know what that meant at the time and Tbh I still dont more importantly i dont care either. Linguistics is stuffy and filled with cobwebs. Spiders teach it with their long exquisite legs while suckling upon the husks of flys (whom liquefy their own food , usually offal, through a miopic mouth which has a straw like extension.) Make of this post what you will.
