Well nest sitting was a little different tonight to say the least, first off the wind was blowing so hard that our trench was covered in sand so we had to redo then the nest down from us was getting the angry sea waves washing over it so we hurried down and help make a wall of sand around it to save the nest. Thank goodness one of our team mate had a wall of material with posts and we put that up to stay out of the wind. It hekped alot but we was full of sand when we got home. I have got to say we are dedicated people to sit through, thunderstroms, heat and strong winds blowing sand and if you have ever had sand hit you with strong winds....it hurts lol. No babies but tomorrow is a full moon keep your fingers crossed. I love love being a volunteer for the Pleasure Island Sea Turtle Project, it has been amazing. But most of all just to sit with good friends on the beach nothing could be better. Loving life
