Well, on the one night I managed to go to bed and sleep, Romeo starts growling and barking away. I started listening and heard soft noises. I, brave woman that I am, get up to investigate. Noticed the bottom kitchen cabinets opened and a few things on the floor. Figured they must have tumbled out. Put them back, and keep looking. Back door locked. Front door locked, but Romeo still carrying on. Thought maybe someone is outside stealing something off the deck or out of the yard, so go outside to check. As Im out on the deck, I hear noises back in the house. Romeo still barking, (John sleeping and telling Romeo to be quiet)figured I missed someone in the guest room or something. As Im coming back in, in the dark I see a creature going over the couch. First thought is a wild cat got in. Turned on the lights to get it out and NOT a cat! Then I finally get John up to help me out here....needless to say, Im wide awake now! Turning on the coffee pot.....ugh!
