Well one of the only thing thats constant in life is change right? With that being said Ive been offered a very exciting opportunity in Colorado that will merge my company with one on Colorado Springs. Weve decided as a family that its a uniquely tremendous opportunity professionally and personally. We are taking what we think is a leap of faith as opposed to a jump of stupid ;). I leave tomorrow and Jen and Rhett follow in a week or so.. Of course we are extremely excited about this new chapter but we are also sad to move from dear friends and family. In the hustle and bustle of such a move, Ive been consumed with the nuts and bolts of everything involved with this. Ive been rather emotionless by design to get through it...until this weekend. This weekend I started reflecting on all that has happened in the 14 years Ive been in Central Florida..all of the things Ive been fortunate to be a part of and had a hand in creating ( softball, golf league, caroling elvis)...and of course the great friends Ive made while here. To have my brother around the corner was such special thing that Ill never forget. Ill miss that. Even though Rob Van Dykeis more than around the corner, Ill miss you and your family brother.. Its easy to dismiss the place you live in as not your home .For instance my home is Massachusetts right? Yes ..sure..but Ive spend more time here than there. Good friendships got even better, new friendships blossomed , I met my wife here and inherited her great family as mine and saw my beautiful boy born here. Central Florida is more of a home to me than any other place Ive lived and Im really going to miss it and everybody that made it home. Thanks for all the love and friendship, I apologize for not seeing everybody I wanted to before I left..ran out of time!!! I also apologize in advance for missing to tag any people who should be tagged....Come see us in Colorado please!!
