Well our tradition is to watch the inflation of the Macys parade balloons the Wednesday night before turkey day (tonight). They set up the big beasts by the Natural History Museum - cool and weird to see these giant balloons in the dark, being held down by nets. Hopefully the bad weather wont affect it. Ironically, we all oversleep and miss the parade in the morning. Happens every friggin year. After some charitable work, we eat. Then we eat again. Then we regret the second round of eating. Thats when its time to take a long walk around the city and say hello to random strangers. People are so pleasant when theyre in a food coma. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with the people you love! And please be extra careful out on those horrible roads!
