Well said Jane. Alberta is still one of the greatest places in the world to live. As Conservatives we honestly tried to fix it from the inside, but sometimes even the best vehicles just collapse because they are so old and rotten, and there seems no way to fix it. We then formed the Wildrose Alliance thinking it might be the answer but Stelmach smelled defeat so he called a snap election before we could get up a full head of steam, and we got clobbered. Of Course his cronies at Elections Alberta made sure we did, and then the PC Party fired Lorne Gibson ,the Chief Electoral Officer, who stood up for integrity and took the PC dominated Legislature to task, so they put in a Loyalist by the name of Brian Fjeldheim, who just recently declared the PC Party innocent of all wrongdoings, and then quickly resigned so as not to have to answer to us for his three minute investigation and public announcement of PC innocence. In spite of all this, I, like you, have lived and worked in many parts of the world, and I always stop and kiss the ground when I come back to Alberta. And this by the way really happened after we locked up our house and left the USA in the middle of the night for our safety because of the death threats, when, as a CEO of an Enron Affiliate, I decided to turn them in for corruption;;; When my wife and I reached the Alberta Border at 7 AM, she actually bent down and kissed the Ground. She finally felt safe. Unfortunately, she, in the search for justice, finally went to the RCMP with a Registered demand for an investigation, but true to the death threats, she died 16 weeks later from undetermined causes. certifiedlifecoaching.ca
