Well since were new, I thought wed introduce ourselves!! This is my ever so sweet & loving elderbull Zeus, whos 10! Were from Ontario Canada, & sadly we are the ONLY place left in Canada with BSL and a ban on these amazing babies... I was lucky enough to have rescued Zeus one yr 2 months and 12 days before it started here.. Breaks my soul how people treat these amazing dogs... They arent any different then other breeds...theyre dogs.. People need to start realizing that... NO dog is born mean, vicious or born to fight, it is humans who make them that way... If you train, raise and treat ANY dog the wrong way of course theres going to be issues...but if you train, raise and treat ANY dog the right way, love, kindness, respect, boundaries and teach them right from wrong, those issues are preventable.. And also parents need to teach their children not to run up to strange dogs and try to hug them, play with them, pull on them ect... Education is ALWAYS the key... Wish these people would see that & start putting the blame where it belongs at the other end of the leash... Ive had Zeus his whole life, Im the only mom hes had..and in these past 10yrs hes ever even looked at someone the wrong way, let alone try to hurt someone.. Im a very responsible pet parent and I do whatever it is I have to, to make sure he doesnt end up falling victim to BSL. Well he already is, but I mean being killed because of it... Its not right that these dogs are judged and killed based on their looks... Told Zeus there were no treats left and this is the look I got like, WHATTTTTT what do you mean theres no treats left mom!! Hes such a ham!!
