Well still in Hermannsburg. Learning a lot and hope to learn twice as much next week as only have 4.5 days of time in the clinic left. Great bunch of people here and years of experience between them. Unfortunately have not manged to get my telstra dongle (thanks ##1@#%g telstra) to work so do not have the internet on my computer and cannot put up any pics yet. Went on a great trip yesterday with one of the clinic nurses (a big huge thankyou Barry) and his wife. Went to a Glen Helens Gorge & another place where a meteor has created a huge crater (cannot remember its name) Some spectacular scenery around here. Very dramatic. Saw a herd of feral camels too, they were even bigger than the ones we rode on back in Alice. Really nice meal at Glen Helen, got to taste kangaroo (yummy) buffalo & camel (not quite so yummy) and crocodile SCRUMPTIOUS. And had, and enjoyed immensely 2 Coronas (Hermansburg is a dry community). As I do not have the internet at my flat I am way behind on the homework so have been dedicating my time to my pharmacology workbook & will start my cultural case study too. Hope to catch up in the 3 days I have at home before going back to work. YUK what a thought. Hope my uniform fits, apart from the occasional stroll around the community have done zilch exercise. Well back to the flat & books.
