Well, thanks for nothing Sears/KMart, whatever you are! My daughter saw an online Sears ad for a Faux Leather Sofa and Chaise being Clearanced for $120.00 in Sept. She excitedly sent it to me as my furniture is aged, doggy and getting rather dreadful. Faux Leather would have been perfect for my needs, and it was FIRM! My Physical Therapists told me I cant sit on any of my furniture except one chair anymore due to my back and their softness. The price seemed too good to be true, so my daughter called a Sears Representative to confirm it was BOTH pieces, SOFA and Chaise, and was assured it was, so I ordered. I was SO EXCITED!! Just a Chaise showed up for pick-up. I called them, told them my problem, they said they would get back to me in eight hours, and never did. I tried an Online Chat with them today, stating my case. I was told I could get another CHAISE at a 10% discount for my inconvenience. I asked what a disabled person is going to do perching on a lone Chaise? They already sent one...I wanted the Sofa we were told would go with it! I asked them to honor what we were told, but they would not...just kept offering discounts on other useless Chaises. I took screen shots of the whole frustrating conversation. I do not blame the Customer Service Rep. and told him so. Ive worked that before and know the abuse you can get and DID NOT abuse him, but thought Sears was a better company than this. I wont set foot in another Sears/KMart, whatever it is, again.
