Well... thanks to some dude, old dude spoiling the girls smiling and having fun, we are back home. Im stood out on the footpath waiting and watching the girls.. When this guy answered I absolutely disagree with what you are doing, you are doing wrong my ears pricked and my heart dropped - I cant imagine what my girls faces were like! Well Teds said from the footpath Hey Buddy.. did you see their smiles when you answered the door His reply No. But what your allowing to do is wrong I said Mate they arent doing it for religion, they arent doing it because they cant afford treats, I could buy all the lollies in Woollies for them if I choose then he opens up the door and comes outside. Girls said Mummy he scaring us, hes coming to get you He says politely That it isnt in a Christian/spiritual way, have you read blah blah blah I said My girls arent doing this to go against any Christianity or spiritual beliefs, Im a believer in spirituality so please dont suggest that we are going against my beliefs he said Well clearly you arent spiritual Oh yeah... old school Teds came out with a pleasant and empathetic tone! I said I am allowing my Children to do this because they are having fun along with the rest of the community, I am here to protect them from anything that could cause them harm, I am offended by you talking to my 8 + 6 year old in the manner you did... thats not caring toward them in a Christian way! My late husband, their Dad who is in spirit would love nothing more to know that they are SMILING and having FUN..isnt that what Christianity is about, happiness, love all, do no harm to others He said Do you believe in God I had to say Have a good night My goodness - do we lock our children up from evil and religion.. Sacrifice their fun? I did it as a kid, and I didnt even have my parents walk with us! What a spoil sport! Hindsight ** I am actually pleased we are home... the sweet treats they got... I reckon Id could get them to mow my lawn, Tiarnas lawn, Reeces lawn and your lawn in abart half hour if I allowed them to eat them all. (Im a spoil sport when it comes to sugar) But hey its once a year this fun dress up time! There you go a bit of read for you all... Ill take a breath now hehe Happy Halloween yhawl xxx peace xxx
