Well that didnt go as smoothly as Id hoped! She has cut up with the nurses and even Dr Metz all morning and kept them laughing but as they rolled off with her she looked back with such fear and uncertainty and started to cry! Oh I hope she doesnt think theyre taking her away!! After the 24 hour period in China, (where you can change your mind and return them) as we pulled up to the building we had picked her up at the day before, she started to cry and didnt want to get out of the car. She thought we were returning her! Thats the same look she had just now! Pray she wakes up in recovery not afraid and that they get her back out to us very quickly! The abandonment occurred for her as only an infant, but I have to wonder if somehow she feels that now! Makes me think of how sometimes we feel abandoned as Christians in our life, all alone, but then we open our eyes and there Christ is, never left us, still there! I pray AK feels that as she wakes up!!
