Well that nearly went to plan!!! We had two plans. Plan A. If we had the pace, wed disappear and leave everyone else wondering where we went or Plan B. Let the leaders go and stick in 2nd or 3rd and take the points. So when Ady qualified on pole, 1.7 seconds faster than our nearest rival, it was an easy decision, we were going for it. And boy did Ady go for it!! After about half hour we were in the lead by 50 seconds and then disaster struck. Adys chain snapped and we plummeted from 1st to last in the space of minutes!! Gutted!! Still, we managed to come away with a 3rd in class for a much needed 16 points. Sorry to mike Wheeler and Richard Marshall for robbing their podium slot but it had to done Im afraid boys! So weve come away with an unexpected trophy and healthy 22 point lead to take to the final round at Silverstone. A missed opportunity but its the first mechanical weve had all year. Good Old Minimotos!! Big thanks to Dobber, Clarky, The Bridle Clan and Quail for sorting the bike during the commotion. We need ya all and couldnt do it without ya. Roll on the next one. Lets get this mission accomplished!!!
