Well...that nice little conversation with the state tax people didnt exactly pan out. Oh she did do what she said she would do and handed the paperwork over to the woman who does all the emailing. Soooo he should have had 35 bucks taken out a week...the agreed upon (and much reduced)amount from what they wanted. Yep...until his nice 53 hour paycheck turned out to be more like a 5 hour check. Seems this woman does not check her spelling or failed messages. She spelled both email addresses wrong...therefore the company had no choice but to do what the state had originally mandated. Take damn near 300 out of his check. Yep...he were pissed. And so was the woman when I called her and she found out what happened. Went right to her supervisor and told her that this other woman made a costly mistake at my husbands expense. Can they fix it? Nope....since he owes it they arent exactly gonna give it back. But she was damn adamant that they better have it right now and no more than 35 comes out for the next 4 weeks. Even the boss at work felt bad for him and told me he wished he could help. I told him a raise would be nice.......we both laughed.
