Well that pre-op was a bit of a roller coaster ride! I got upset at the beginning because the first woman I saw had to go over all the things that make my operation more complicated and risky and not like a normal hip replacement (I ALREADY KNOW THAT - PLEASE SHUT UP!!!) If Id have seen her later, Id have been ok, but she was the first and as I was already in pain because its a long walk to get down the corridor to the right place it wasnt a good start! But after that all went well. All the nurses were lovely, as was the lady who took the X Ray and I saw Mr Phillips (my surgeon) who was still a bit doom and gloom but not as bad as last time. There may be a chance I will have the date changed AGAIN but wont know till next week. Hey ho!
