Well that will teach me for making Golden Syrup Dumplings in my slow cooker. I put it on high, waited until it felt warm and then poured the hot sauce in, crack! I can see a crack both sides of the outer lip of the pot but the crack didnt go down inside the pot, so I decided to keep going and put the lid on, however now I can hear occasional sizzling as something is leaking out of somewhere underneath and hitting the metal outer of the SC. Im assuming I should probably abandon the SC and cook it in the Oven? Is that possible to do with Golden Syrup dumplings? I dont want to waste them but if anyone knows what gas mark, how long or any advice on doing them in the oven instead please let me know, thanks
