Well thats Kevin off to Dorset yet again for another 3 weeks, doing his bit with flooding damage done to the railway there. Massive amounts of testing and commissioning work to be done and not enough time to do it. Although a lot of the flooding is gone, there is still a phenomenal amount of clearing up to do. I wish I could go with him this time but my next hand operation is on the 27th March, and Ill be glad when its done as my hand has is not good. But on the up side looking forward to Kevin bringing back some Dorset delicacies, and my memories of living there. There is also the possibility Kevin is going to miss his sisters 50th birthday bash and hes very not happy about this, oh the joys of being a railway widow. Liam has really settled with him having to take insulin and his fear of needles has calmed slightly. He has lost a lot of weight recently in such a short time(3.5 stones) in the past 2 months, and him getting used to being a type 1 diabetic like me has been quite a learning curve, but hes doing really well and Im proud of him for trying hard to be a good. Everyone at the hospital has been very supportive of Liams special needs etc and are amazed at how quickly he has gotten to grips with testing and at the way he has found several strategies to cope with his insulin injections as well. On a more happy note some of you may remember that our elderly cat Mrs Tiggywinkle past away in her sleep in October and this was a devastating loss for us all. Im proud to let you all know that as from April 11th well be bringing home a new boy maine coon called at the moment called spirritz puddifoot. He will be excellent company for Cinnabar as shes missed Mrs Tiggywinkle not being about anymore. Well were all keeping reasonably healthy bar from the occasionally buggering bugs, sniffle and hacking cough, I hope this finds everyone of our friends in good health and will update again soon love Fea, Kevin and Liam x x x x x
