Well the 135th Homecoming is in the books. With an attendance of 120 and enough food to feed twice that many everyone had a wonderful day. Our visiting pastor Rev. Jim Salmon delivered an excellent message. He focused on the people being the church, not the building or the preacher, but the people and how important each one is to the longevity of the church. The guest vocalist, Trish Lane, sang two beautiful selections. To top off the service an article of Corinth history was presented to the church by a member from one of the founding families. The first bible given to Corinth on May 25th, 1878 has been restored and now rests on the altar. The presence of the Holy Spirit was easily felt throughout the entire service. Thanks to Tina Hawkins for coordinating the event and a special thanks to everyone that worked so hard cleaning, decorating, cooking and getting everything ready. God has blessed Corinth with wonderful, faithful members, for which we give Him all the praise and glory. Amen!
