Well the Mildura Country Music Festival is done and dusted for - TopicsExpress

Well the Mildura Country Music Festival is done and dusted for another year ... 10 days of non stop superb entertainment for Country Music lovers in Australia. Apart from my sinusitis, I had a wonderful time. It was a privilege to be a part of the festival and to get to know my fellow east coast artists just a little bit better ... BIG THANKS go to many .... all the fabulous bands who worked so hard to back us artists, to the hard working sound guys, the radio presenters at Hot FM, Good Morning Country, ABC Radio, SON FM 88 and OZ Country Music Radio, as well as other visiting DJs, who came up for pre-recorded interviews. Many thanks also go to Ron An Judy Collingburn, who worked tirelessly at the product tent selling our CDs for us ... to all the hosts at each show and to the stage managers who managed everyone and every thing so that it ran seamlessly. Thanks and appreciation too, go to the all the sponsors of the festival ... so vital to the success of the event and in particular - to the Festival Committee ... especially John Arnold and Bronlyn Pixie-Anne for their hard work for us Indies ... Finally ... big thanks go to all the country music aficionados, without whom, there would be no festival. Their support and purchases of our CDs is what makes the music go round. Last but not least, to Tom Oreilly, for posting photos of my and other artists performances ... a lovely memento, especially, since when travelling alone, it is hard to get happy snaps of performances on stage. This photo was from yesterdays Sunday morning round up. I am still in Mildura, and am busy packing ... washing done and mess ferries well and truly in action as I sort and organize myself for the long haul home. No more posts for a while ... next stop ... Kimba in South Australia ... Cyu all later! xx
