Well, the docs decision to discontinue the anti-nausea meds wasnt a good one. After receiving her last dose yesterday afternoon, Jess threw up all her meds this morning. She then was more ill two hours later. We finally got an order back to restart them at 6 pm. So far, so good. Jessica was a trooper today! She not only stayed in the chair for for over two and a half hours this morning but she got back up and stayed up for another 1 1/2 hours this afternoon. She said it sucked but she is going to pass this swallow test Wednesday!! Even after getting very sick this morning, she still stayed up an extra hour. Tomorrow well try another couple bouts in the chair. Tuesday is going to be family day. We are requesting no visitors on Tuesday. We have only, on three occasions, been alone with Jessica as our complete family. The five of us need a quiet family time. Also, we feel that this will give Jess some solid rest between physio, ot and daily routines so she has the best chance at being successful Wednesday morning. 💕😊
