Well the first day of two days at Summit Point Raceway in West - TopicsExpress

Well the first day of two days at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia was eventful. The day was filled with battles between cars, wildlife and stationary objects. The first battle was between a BMW M3 and the woods. A driver missed a turn and ended up in the trees. The driver was OK, the BMW not so much. The second battle ended up in tie between a Maserati and a large ground hog. The reason I say this ended up in a tie is because even though the ground hog was killed, he or she got their revenge by destroying the radiator and cooling system on the Maserati. The third battle was between another ground hog and a Porsche 911. This time the car was OK except for a rather unique new splatter paint job. The last battle of the day was between a Porsche 993 and a rather challenging corner. The car in front of me spun around ending up off the track into the dirt after misjudging a turn. Somehow I missed his car as it spun on the track as I drove through a large cloud of dust and dirt. The total of casualties for the day: three cars and two ground hogs. Lets see what tomorrow brings.
