Well the good news from the doctor appointment is that my toe is looking much better!!! The bad news and its not really anything major - when they x-rayed the ankle, he is now seeing that there was a little chipped off the fibula on the inside on the ankle too. Just happened to show on the xray today because the foot was positioned just a little different. Just need to keep wearing the boot. BTW he can tell that it was the boot that caused the rubbing on my toe which caused the open sore in the first place. And the spot on my shin, it just a bruise that gets irritated when it try to walk toooooooo much. Life is grand and I just need to keep in mind that this all could have been much worse!!
