Well the news is out. In just over a month ( 36 days ) I depart for Boston. Over the past 12 months or so I have been self training on web development from various websites and books. Its been tough. But i really started to like it. I wan to be a web developer. In boston, i will be attending Launch Academy, a high speed 10-week intensive bootcamp, where I will master Ruby on Rails , or at least get very good at using the framework. Im not leaving EMS. I dont think that I could ever actually leave 100%. I have too many friends that i would never get to see. But this is the right move for my family. Melissa Robinson is supporting me 100%, and that feels amazing. I really got lucky when I found her. Stepping down at Ops Lt at NBFARS was not an easy choice. I really work with an amazing team. We have all been through a lot together. I dont really consider them as co-workers. They are my brothers! Im sure i will post more about that later. :) Thanks for the support guys!
