Well the nurse from The Autism Program just left doing her assessment on Jeff…there was an evaluation done on him 6 weeks ago & he met all the criteria’s that qualified him for every program available!! He will start the Day Care Center 4-5 days a week for 6-8 hours a day hopefully in 3 weeks…he gets a personal care provider for 2 hours 5 days a week…they even deliver him 3 meals 5 days a week (if I want it) & if needed for emergency he can also have Respite Care!!…I applied for services months ago but I just had to wait for the red tape…it’s a hurry up & wait deal. But he is finally in the system!! Jeff is beyond excited… Me… I’m excited for him but I sure am going to miss him being gone that many hours a day! However; it will give me some time to do more educational things plus have some “Cindi” time!! :)
