Well..the parade was nice,but personally I loved the First Nations dancers,and the wonderful dinner at the MCGREGOR COWAN HOUSE,it was an honor and a pleasure to be present.Everything was amazing,it turns out that people ate very very well around here in 1812,and the company was truly special,it is not very often that I get a chance to sit and discuss our local history with so many local history buffs,activists, prefomers ,and organizers in a historical setting,this house was built in 1808,and housed many of the important figures(from both sides) of that war.(the prisoners that were shackled in the basement lol)
