Well, the television anecdote was a little more than unsettling. I think whether youre atheist, spiritual or mineral theres going to be a certain amount of investment in believing that we create our own consciousness, period. The sort of preconceived notion that is likely going to be averse to the idea we might actually be more like amplifier/receivers than neat little, self-contained consciousness emitters.
