Well this has been a roller coaster day. Good news, dog is healing quite well from surgery 8 weeks ago but hasnt been cleared to go back to daycare yet. Bad news, our cat Sitka possibly has cancer in the right lower lobe of her lung. Vet is very concerned that it is cancer so I am taking her in on Wednesday for an ultrasound and a biopsy. We wont know the results for about a week. Blood test should come back on Monday and that might give us some other results that would point to cancer as well. And shes lost almost a pound in about 3 months, so thats not good. Shes such a good kitty, I would hate to lose her after only 5 years of her being a part of our family, but she is 12. Well see in a week or so what the diagnosis is. Fingers crossed that its benign!
