Well...this is no constant except for change. Today I resigned my position at UP Elementary. It was perhaps one of the finest positions that I have ever had the privilege of working. It not only allowed me to provide for my family....but each and every day it taught me something new, expanded my knowledge, and taught me the gift of patience. I was fortunate enough to see first hand the work of teachers and staff.....inspired, professional, and dedicated to their students....our students....my students. As much as I will miss the professional camaraderie that comes with working in a school environment....I think I will miss the bond that comes with working in my department....with those students. My kids....my charges...the kids I championed for each day. They helped me be better as a teacher....as a person...and as a father. These are kids that I will never forget....that I look forward to hearing about when they graduate...grow up and move on. Thank you to my sweet wife Andrea for being so supportive of my initial choice to try my hand at working in a school, for being with me during the journey, and for talking me through this most recent decision. I love her beyond measure.. Missing you already UP - Please keep in touch.
