Well, this week was another lesson learned: Yesterday I was attempting to clean the bathroom and I reached down to pick up the rug the smell of mold came over me like a blast. So I removed the floor trim that I knew somehow was wet but I thought it was from grandkids not pulling the shower curtain tight, mold black mold. I took another look and on the back of the beed board paneling it was climbing up, so that has to be striped off the wall. The next step was to find the leek, turned shower on and here comes the water. No matter how many times we tighten the shower head pipe it would not stop. We removed the pipe and looked in the 90* elbow I could see a flaw in the threads. So now we have to replumb with all new materials and we will have to re build the wall. YIPPIE ! The lesson here is check all materials especially pvc type for flaws before installing them.
