Well today after 40 years in the field of nursing and 30 years at MVH, I turned in my badge and walk out the doors for the last time as an employee. Though I had a smile on my face, there was also an element of sadness. Being a nurse was my dream since I was twelve years old, and as I walk away I can say I know I have made a difference in many not only patients, but co-workers and family members. I have so many memories of the past 40 years starting at Payson City Hospital, Logan Regional Hospital, Franklin County Hospital and Mountain View Hospital. Thank you Callene Bobo, Sally Sally Orton Showgren night shift ortho floor, Ela Jensen, Sherry Bell, Jo Burt M/S graveyard-- boy did we have fun. The ED for 20 years--love it all with my heart and soul. Karen Spotten, Brent Alvey what a team we were. All the ED staff and Docs love you all. Andie Gardiner, my other half of trouble--love you and your friendship. Dallas Kristina Reid--you rock keep everyone in line. Lisa Petty Taylor thank you so much for believing in me. Wow what a ride! Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life----I plan on living each day with zest!
