Well, today is the day that my brave Joy came home from hospital after having surgery for Breast Cancer. She has endured months of discomfort from Chemotherapy and the uncertainty of what lay ahead, but through it all she has remained positive and cheerful. Yes there have been bad days but we shared those together in private, not in public, there have also been good days which we have shared with our amazing group of incredibly supportive friends here in Tenerife, thank you all. Last Thursday the 23rd October 2014 at around 3.15pm, the surgeon told me that the operation technically and clinically had been a success and although he had been forced to undertake more work than first anticipated, he was pleased to say that all traces of the cancer had been removed. We can now look to the future and a long period of rehab, but all the signs are good. Thanks to all our many FB friends wherever you are, your support has been invaluable. Heres to a cancer free future for all affected. THANKS AGAIN!!!! Eric & Joy xxx
