Well today was a bit emotional for me, it was moms birthday. So Ive been feeling sorry for myself cuz I miss her so much. But this afternoon, our case worker from the La. Baptist Childrens home called & asked if we would foster an 8 year old boy. He has Aspergers, which Im not familiar with. I will do some research tho u can betcha! ;) so now, we r excited, & nervous about our new adventure. Please pray for us all & for this precious little boy who has just been taken from his family. This is gonna be tuff for him! This will be his first time ever in foster care. Soooo, if any of you have any advice on how to raise & interact with a child that has Aspergers... PLEASE share that advice! :) thank yall!!! We r looking forward to bringing this little man into our lives!
