Well today was my first crack at bass fishing had know idea what I was doing. But lessons where Learnt. 1. Take a knife to kill the fish. 2. A 8 pound bass can easily thrash its way out of a plastic shopping bag in about 1.2 seconds. 3. Always make sure the line is secure to the board. As when you get another big fish on that rips the line out of your hands you dont have to swim after it and lose the fish. All said and dun I ended up with two nice bass for dinner and had a lot of fun. All in about 45 mins and all in about shoulder depth water
