Well today we got some answers. They diagnosed Ella with a hypopituitarism as well as hypothyroidism. The endocrinologist said this will be life long and could possible cause some obstacles in the future. However, for now we will start her new medications and pray her glucose and eating issues start to disappear. The doctors want an MRI of her brain to evaluate any possible abnormalities and just to double check there arent any further issues. Along with this, they want to check the anatomy of her stomach. They did an ultrasound late tonight so I will hear from those results tomorrow. Thank you guys for your prayers. I am thankful for answers, the right doctors, and medication to help her body get regulated. This is all manageable, even the future obstacles. She will be under the care of Childrens Hospital for much of her life, and I am thankful for every nurse and doctor weve met and will meet in the future. Everyone has been amazing and supportive and Im thankful its these types of people who will watch Ella grow up and help her have the normal life she deserves!
