Well, tried one more time to make a difference at City Comm mtg yesterday. I was blown away by the misinformation one commissioner was putting out. When you add up all the salaries, expenses, and monies that have been poured into CVB it seems very unfair the chicanery that went on among the dysfunctional group that calls itself our community leaders. They certainly know how to vacillate and smoothly speak from both sides of their mouths. As much a neophyte as I am to city politics, I recognize just how divided our commission is; and that they are not nearly as interested in creating a thriving, tourist attracting city as they are in getting their own way...I cannot wait until my commissioner (dist 1) comes up for reelection. I will fight to dissuade anyone for voting for him. I am MAD!!!!
