Well, we are back to driving in and out of of here again every day for the next week or so. Mauro still showing severe adverse side effects, with his face/eyes still swelling like he has been bitten by 20 Beez, not to mention the extreme redness and cracked/peeling of his skin. Docs still thinking its a toxic reaction to 2 of the anti fungal meds...so now hes down to the last anti fungal med option of Amberzone. This can only be administered via IV and takes approx 4.5hrs daily. Mauro seemed worse again today with his face swelling even more, high heart rate and difficulty breathing..so he is borderline admission again right now (they have left a bed for him, we just going to see how he feels after IV dose)....still praying and hoping we can get this under control for him very soon 😊👍
