Well, we gave the turkey vulture some meds yesterday to counteract the possible poison. He couldnt stand yesterday. Couldnt even lift his head without help. Today he is raring to go. He ate 5 mice first thing in the morning. Fortunately, one of our volunteers noticed some roadkill--a large snake--not far from the Rescue center, so we picked it up. He is making short work of it as well. Now that he is standing, eating and developing a bit of an attitude, he is well on the road to recovery and may be able to be released very soon. Well see if he can fly tomorrow.
