Well we had our first pet loss tonight. Almost 2 years ago we welcomed Bens betta, Josh Hamilton (thus the pic of his favorite THEN Texas Ranger) into our house, today he took his final dive. Odd thing is Ben was, dare I say, excited to get to flush him. HE wanted to fish him out of the tank AND carry him to the bathroom. He did say his goodbyes, Goodbye, Josh, I love you, to which he closed the toilet, opened it back up and said no (I wanna see this!!), then closed it. When he opened it back up and saw he was gone his shoulders dropped a bit. All in all he took it well. We knew it was coming soon, he just wasnt his usually self. Poor bug.
