Well, we here at Sawtooth Printshop have some weird and sad news to share concerning our business name and the general shadiness of creatures on the internet. WIthout getting into too many disgusting details, the jist of this story is that our website domain was boosted and hacked and we are unable to get the domain, sawtoothprinthouse back from a robot in China who is now using the domain to sell Louis Vuitton bags and knock off Air Jordans. Since we are unable to get the site back and believe us weve tried every channel available, we are being advised to get as far away from the name as possible, so when theyre criminal ship sinks, we are far from the wreckage. We are also changing our name. You know us, were just some hard working people who are trying to feed their families and have a successful small business in the best backyard shop there ever was.This was a very unexpected blow, and its pretty shocking that people are looking to do harm to even the smallest scale shops out there. But were feeling hopeful things can be fixed up and smoothed over. Our new name is Sawtooth Printshop! We erred and arred at every similar name imaginable and this stuck. Our website/facebook/instagram, ect will all be in the new name of Sawtooth Printshop, as will our entire business.(time to order new checks) Not too bad a change all things considered, but we have to keep moving and this was the best and closest to the original name that we could get. Our new website is sawtoothprintshop and you can still go there and laugh at photos of dogs or get information about our upcoming events and letterpress classes. Thanks for all the advice and assistance from folks who heard about this on the front end and helped us navigate some nasty old dirty waters. This is the bad news section of the post, but Sawtooth Printshop has some good news to share this week as well which we wont get into quite yet, but believe us its worth waiting for!
