Well what a week its been. I lost my brother, Kashi Jobrani, last Tuesday and its just starting to really set in. Anyone whos been through an unexpected loss like this knows how hard it can be. I have gone through shock, sadness, anger and now reality. I want to thank everyone who has reached out via Facebook, texts, calls, e-mails, etc. Unfortunately, the one person I have wanted to hear from has not reached out and that was him. But again, thats the reality. Hes gone. Nothing anyone can do can bring him back. I am now turning to trying to bring some normalcy to my life while I continue to mourn. Because of that I have chosen to get back to work and will be coming to Europe and the Middle East for the shows I had scheduled from a while back. I look forward to seeing you all there and having your laughter carry me through this horrible time. I think that laughter can be healing and I know that I need a lot of healing these days! I would also like to maintain my attention on helping my brothers 7 year old son cope with the passing of his father. In his honor I have changed a show I had on the books for Los Angeles to a fundraiser for the kids custodian account. If you live in Los Angeles, please come out to the Laugh Factory on May 20th and join us for a night of laughter and a good cause. The proceeds from that night will go to Kamran, my young nephew. Please spread the word about this show as it should be a special night. For tickets you can go to laughfactory/clubs/hollywood/date/2014-05-20 One lesson I have learned from the passing of my brother is that you can never say I love you enough. I find myself telling all my friends and family that I love them and I feel it from the pit of my stomach. Its unfortunate that it took a loss like this for me to come to this realization and I encourage you all to hug those around you and tell them you love them all day long. It has helped me in the healing process and I feel like I am a better person for it. Thank you Kash! Thank you all!
